What do the statuses on a Change Order Client mean?

The eight statuses on a Change Order Client, and what each of them means for the income

A Change Order Client has eight statuses. The status shows where in the process the change stands with the client.

Change Order Client. 1: Status.

Status

Meaning

Notice

You have notified the client of an issue that may constitute a change, but the claim has not necessarily been priced or submitted yet.

Claim

You have submitted a priced claim to the client. The income has not been confirmed yet.

Offer

You have sent a price at the client's request.

Partially approved

Some cost lines have been approved, while others have been withdrawn or are still being processed.

Approved

The client has accepted the entire change, and the income can be relied on.

Rejected

The client has rejected the change in its entirety. You choose whether the income should be set to zero or kept.

Disputed

The parties disagree on scope, price or basis, and the matter has not been resolved.

Withdrawn

The change is dropped in its entirety.

The status does not control the forecast — the amount in the Income field does.
