Yes. In drop-down menus you do not need to scroll through the whole list. Start typing, and the results are filtered immediately. It works everywhere in AIMZ where you select from a list, for example account, production code and supplier.
How to do it
Click in the drop-down menu, for example the Production code field on a cost line.
Type part of the number or name, for example «23» or «pipe».
The list shows only the matching results.
Select the right result with the mouse or the arrow keys and Enter.
Where does it work?
Production code and account on cost lines, purchases and change orders.
Supplier when you create a purchase.
Group on change orders.
Contract when you create a Change Order Sub.
Good to know
In number fields you can also type simple calculations directly, without using a calculator.
