How do I enter an estimate for LPS before the subcontractor contracts have a payment plan?

Create a custom currency column, for example "Assessed LPS", under Columns → Custom columns in Prod. codes, and fill in the estimate per production code. Ask AIMZ to include the column in the final forecast.

You can create your own column, for example "Assessed LPS", in Prod. codes and enter an estimate per production code. For the estimate to be counted as cost in the final forecast, the formula must be updated. Contact AIMZ and we will help you.

How to do it

  1. Go to Prod. codes.

  2. Click Columns above the table, select Custom columns and press + Add. Do not use + Add next to Edit above the table – that one applies to the table itself.

  3. Give the column a name, for example "Assessed LPS", and select the currency type.

  4. The column is placed furthest to the right. Drag it where you want it.

  5. Click Edit above the table and enter the estimate per production code.

  6. Ask AIMZ to include the column in the final forecast.

Prod. codes with the Columns panel open and editing of custom columns started. 1 points to the Columns panel, which is opened with the Columns button above the table, and 2 to the Add button, which creates a new custom column.

Good to know

  • When the contract is purchased and has a payment plan, set "Assessed LPS" to 0. The payment plan then controls LPS.

  • The column can also be shown on Home under costs.

  • A simpler alternative is an expected addition named "LPS". LPS is then not shown as a separate column.
