What is the difference between a received and a processed invoice?

The difference between a received invoice and a fully processed invoice, which statuses they have, and when they count in the project accounts.

«Received» means that the invoice has been registered in the accounting system (e.g. Tripletex), but has not yet been approved there. It is shown in the AIMZ invoice overview so that you can see it and prepare the linking early, but it is not yet included in the project accounts or in accrued costs.

When the invoice is approved and fully posted in the accounting system, the status is updated automatically, and the invoice is included in the project accounts:

  • Not linked — fully posted, but not yet linked to a planned cost.

  • Linked — fully posted and linked to a planned cost. If you already linked the invoice in AIMZ while it was received, it gets this status directly.

There is no separate status called «Processed». A fully processed invoice has the status Linked, or Rejected if you have rejected it. See all the statuses in Invoice linking.
