Can I rename a column if the term isn't available in Text alias?

Create a custom column with the same value and the name you want, and hide the original column.

You can rename many of AIMZ's terms under Text alias in the settings. If the term isn't there — for example the «Cost» column in the purchasing table — you can create a custom column instead.

1: Columns, where you choose and add columns.

How to do it

  1. Create a new custom column with the name you want, for example «Contract sum».

  2. Select the value of the original column as the column value.

  3. Hide the original column in the table.

Custom columns can also be based on other column values and calculations, and you can add predefined answer options — for example an «Invoiced: Yes/No» column on change orders.
