Yes. Tables in AIMZ can be set up with both locked import values and columns you fill in yourself. Values that come from the estimating software, for example resource consumption and cost per unit, can be locked. A column such as actual unit cost can be filled with the calculated value on import and then overridden where you know more.
Example: actual unit cost
Add a copy of the unit cost column in the Excel file and name it, for example, "Actual unit cost".
Import the estimate. The calculated unit cost is locked in its column, while actual unit cost starts with the same value.
When a purchase has been negotiated to a lower price, you override actual unit cost on the line.
The difference between calculated and actual unit cost shows gain or loss per line, even before the invoices arrive.
Other input columns
You can also have other manual columns, for example estimated final quantity. You decide which columns are shown or hidden with table profiles.
Good to know
Setting up locked and overridable columns in the estimate is best done together with AIMZ. Contact us in the chat if you want it set up.
