Yes. In addition to degree of completion per production code, you can set the degree of completion as a percentage per estimate line within the production code. This is useful when a code has many estimate items progressing at different rates, or when you want to distinguish between what has been purchased and what has actually been done.
How to do it
Go to Prod. codes and open the production code.
Open the estimate lines on the code.
Click Edit.
Set the degree of completion per estimate line, either as a percentage or as a produced amount in NOK.
Save.
Purchased is not the same as done
Materials may be purchased a month before the work is done. Degree of completion based on cost therefore does not always match what has been done on site. By setting the degree of completion per line, you can track both how much material has been purchased and how many hours have been incurred.
Two variants side by side
If you want a separate parameter for what has actually been done on site, you can set it up with custom columns. You can then show degree of completion based on posted versus final forecast next to degree of completion based on actual production.
