Why don't my colleagues see all the columns when I share a profile at organization level?

Custom columns and variables are saved separately from the profile. They must also be at organization level, otherwise they are missing for other projects.

A table profile and the custom columns and variables it uses are saved separately and each has its own level. If you share a profile at organization level while the custom columns are only on your project, other projects only get the columns that exist at organization level. The custom columns disappear for them.

How to do it right

  1. Open the custom columns and variables that the profile uses.

  2. Save them at organization level, or at the level the profile is meant to apply to.

  3. Then share the profile to the same level.

  4. Mark the profile with a star if it should be the suggested view for everyone.

  5. Ask a colleague on another project to check that all the columns are shown.
