How do I customize the purchasing overview to resemble our procurement plan?

The Purchasing table can be customized like other tables. Set up the columns as in the procurement plan you use in Excel, and save the layout as a shared profile.

The Purchasing table shows all purchases and contracts across production codes, and can be customized like other tables in AIMZ. If you already have a procurement plan in Excel, set up the columns so the table resembles it, and save the layout as a shared table profile. That way, users will feel at home.

How to do it

  1. Go to Purchasing.

  2. Choose the columns you use in the procurement plan, for example name, supplier, production code, status, amount and who is responsible for the purchase.

  3. Drag the columns into the same order as in the Excel plan, and hide the columns you don't need.

  4. Group or sort, for example by status or supplier.

  5. Save the layout as a table profile, and share it with the project or the organization.

The Purchasing table set up as a procurement plan. 1: the Status column. 2: the Contract manager column. 3: the profile selector, where you save and share the layout.

What do you get out of it?

  • A single procurement plan that is always up to date with the project's figures.

  • An overview of what is planned and purchased, and who is doing what.

  • A low threshold for adopting AIMZ, because the view resembles what you are used to.
