Can I paste screenshots directly into the description of a change order?

Yes. Paste the image with Ctrl+V in the description field, or upload it as a file. Images are not merged into the PDF export the way PDF attachments are.

Yes. You can paste a screenshot straight into the description field on the change order, or upload it as a file with the Attachment button.

How to do it

  1. Take a screenshot, so that it is on the clipboard.

  2. Open the change order, expand More information and click in the Description field.

  3. Press Ctrl+V to paste the image.

  4. Save the change order.

Good to know

  • Images are not merged into the PDF export the way PDF attachments are.

  • If the images should be included in the document to the client, collect them in a PDF and attach it to the change order.

  • You can also upload the image with Attachment at the top right instead of pasting it.
