Enter the cost on a separate production code. If the code from the estimate doesn't exist, create it manually. The income is already in the contract with the client, so it is the cost that needs to be entered.
How to do it
Go to Prod. codes and click + Production code at the top right.
Enter the number in Prod. code and the name in Name. Set the budget (the field may be called Cost price estimate) to the cost price of the transferred contract. The budget can also be set to 0 and filled in later.
Save.
Register the contract with the subcontractor in Purchasing on the new production code.
Good to know
Without its own production code and contract, the cost is not included in the final forecast, and the contribution margin (%) becomes too high.
If the fields are greyed out when you create the production code, it is usually because of your role.
