How do I add a new production code manually?

Go to Prod. Codes and click "+ Production Code" at the top right. Enter number, name and budget. The budget can be set to 0 and filled in later.

How to do it

  1. Go to Prod. Codes.

  2. Click + Production Code at the top right.

  3. Enter number and name.

  4. Enter a budget, or leave it at 0. The budget may be called Cost price estimate in your setup.

  5. Save.

Good to know

  • You do not have to fill in the whole line at once. The budget can be entered later.

  • A production code that does not exist in the estimate gets a budget of NOK 0. If you enter a purchase or a cost on it, the remaining budget becomes negative.

  • If the budget is on a different production code, you move it with a transaction.

  • If you are going to enter many codes, it is faster to import them from Excel.
