What do I do if the index we need isn't available in AIMZ?

Send the SSB index number to AIMZ support, and we will add the index. It usually takes a short time.

Not all SSB indices are available in AIMZ by default. Send the index number to support, and we will add it. It usually takes a short time.

How to do it

  1. First check the list in the External index field in the New index dialog. Look for the number, not just the name.

  2. If you can't find it, find the SSB index number, for example in the contract or at SSB.

  3. Send the number to support in the chat, and feel free to say which project it applies to.

  4. When you are told the index is ready, go to Index regulation and add it with + Index (or + Create new index). The index is selected in the External index field.

  5. Check that the index number matches the contract.

The New index dialog in Index regulation with the External index drop-down open. 1 points to the External index field, and 2 to the list of SSB indices available in AIMZ. If the index you need isn't there, send the index number to support.

Good to know

  • This often applies to indices for individual trades, for example plumbing or electrical work.

  • Send both the index number and the full name. Several indices have almost identical names, and some have the same number.

  • You can create several variants of the same index, for example one against the client and one against the subcontractor.
