Withheld amounts and final settlement in the liquidity overview

Withheld amounts are held back each month and paid out in the final settlement — both on the Billing Schedule Client and on the Payment Plan for a contract.

In the Liquidity module, the plans only include the invoice amount itself month by month. The withheld amount is held back and paid out in the final settlement, which is placed in the month you choose.

Where it applies

  • Billing Schedule Client (income): the plan for invoicing the client. The withheld amount is what the client holds back from each invoice, and which you receive in the final settlement.

  • Payment Plan for a contract (cost): the plan towards a subcontractor or supplier. The withheld amount is what you hold back from each payment, and which you pay out in the final settlement.

How it works

  1. Open the plan — for example the Payment Plan for a contract. The columns show production value, invoice amount and withheld amount per month.

  2. The withheld amount — for example 10% — is deducted each month and accumulated.

  3. Choose which month the final settlement should fall in. This lets you control when the total withheld amount hits the liquidity — typically the month after handover or when the final settlement is expected to be paid.

This is what the Payment Plan for a contract looks like:
