Billing Schedule Client

Billing Schedule Client is the plan for what you will invoice the client each month. It drives the revenue side in Liquidity, is the basis for index regulation (LPS) towards the client, and shows whether the project is over- or underinvoiced.

Billing Schedule Client shows what you plan to invoice the client month by month throughout the contract period. The plan drives revenue in Liquidity, is the basis for index regulation (LPS) towards the client, and when outgoing invoices are linked to it, you can see whether the project is over- or underinvoiced.

What the plan consists of

  • Production value: What you plan to produce each month. This is what you enter.

  • Invoice amount: Calculated from the production value.

  • Withheld: Amount withheld under the contract, calculated automatically.

  • Posted: Outgoing invoices linked to the plan.

  • LPS lines: The index regulation towards the client, if LPS is activated.

How to get started

  1. Check that the contract period and contract value under Contract details on the project are correct. The plan covers this period.

  2. Go to Billing Schedule Client. The plan starts as a proposal where the contract sum is distributed evenly.

  3. Edit the plan and enter the production value month by month from your own progress plan.

  4. Activate LPS if the contract is index-regulated.

  5. Link outgoing invoices to the plan as you invoice.

Good to know

  • The billing schedule affects liquidity, not the final forecast.

  • You can have several billing schedules on the same project, for example one per contract with the client.
