The final settlement is not a separate module in AIMZ. It sits on the contract with the subcontractor: open the contract and go to Summaries to see the breakdown of contract, change orders, LPS, counter claims and what has been posted. The breakdown is correct as long as invoices are continuously linked to the contract and to the right change orders.
How to find the final settlement
Go to Purchasing, or open the production code in Prod. codes.
Click the contract with the subcontractor.
Open Summaries.
Here you see the breakdown for the contract: contract amount, change orders, LPS, counter claims and posted (produced) to date.
Keep the final settlement up to date as you go
Link each invoice from the subcontractor to the contract, or to the right Change Order Sub if it concerns change work.
Register counter claims, for example credit notes or expenses you have incurred on behalf of the subcontractor.
That way the final settlement with each subcontractor is always up to date, instead of being put together at the end.
