How do I see the invoices that belong to a change order?

In the change order dialog you'll find related invoices — both outgoing to the client and incoming from the subcontractor.

When you pass on a claim from a subcontractor to a Change Order Client, it can be useful to see what has been invoiced on the change order — for example before you send an on-account invoice to the client for a change order that runs over time.

Change Order Subcontractor. 1: Posted.

In the change order dialog you can see related invoices:

  • Outgoing invoices — invoices that belong to the Change Order Client.

  • Incoming invoices — invoices that belong to the costs, i.e. the Change Order Sub.

Note: the posted subcontractor amount is not shown as a separate column in the Change Order Client table. Use related invoices in the change order dialog instead.

For an invoice to appear here, it must be linked to the change order. Read more in Invoice linking. If you also want to mark which change orders have been invoiced, see Can I keep track of which change orders have been invoiced?
