Do I have to enter the billing schedule myself, or is it fetched from accounting?

The billing schedule is entered in AIMZ. The accounting integration fetches invoices, but not schedules. The same applies to payment plans with suppliers.

You enter the billing schedule in AIMZ. The integration with the accounting system fetches project information and invoices, both incoming and outgoing, but not the schedule for when you will invoice the client. The same applies to payment plans with suppliers, which are entered on the contracts in AIMZ.

What is fetched from accounting, and what do you enter?

  • Fetched automatically: Project information, incoming supplier invoices and outgoing invoices.

  • Entered in AIMZ: The billing schedule with the client, and payment plans with suppliers, for example 10% at contract, 80% during the project and 10% at the end.

How to get started

  1. Go to Billing Schedule Client and edit the schedule with the figures from your own plan.

  2. Enter payment plans on the contracts under Purchasing, in the Payment plan tab.

  3. Link the actual invoices to the plans as they come in.

Billing Schedule Client in edit mode. 1: the amount for a month, which you enter yourself. 2: Remaining. 3: Save.

What do you get out of it?

When the plans are in AIMZ, they are used in the liquidity overview, and you see planned versus actually invoiced without moving figures manually in a spreadsheet.
