What does the blue information icon in front of an invoice line mean?

The blue information icon shows that the invoice has been changed manually, for example that the production code has been switched. Such invoices are not automatically linked to the expense item in Setup and Operation.

The blue information icon shows that the invoice has been changed manually, for example that the production code has been switched. This is important to know, because manually changed invoices are not automatically linked to the expense item in Setup and Operation.

How to do it

  1. Go to Invoice → Incoming invoice.

  2. Look for lines with a blue information icon in front of the code in the Production code column. Hold the mouse pointer over the icon to see the explanation, for example "Production code 5000 differs from system prod. code 5998".

  3. Check that the invoice is linked to the correct production code.

  4. If the invoice belongs to a site setup code, choose the correct expense item manually.

The invoice list under Invoice › Incoming invoice in AIMZ. 1 points to the blue information icon in front of the production code on an invoice line (a similar icon is marked further down), and 2 to the tooltip that appears when you hold the mouse pointer over the icon: "Production code 5000 differs from system prod. code 5998".

Good to know

  • New invoices that have not been changed manually are linked automatically to the expense item once Setup and Operation has been set up.

  • If posted cost is missing in Setup and Operation, manually changed invoices are a good place to start looking.

  • If you have many such invoices, you can link them together with "Edit in bulk".
