How do I set a default markup on the change orders in the project?

Click the edit button on the Markup column and set the default markup. You can switch between percent and kroner, and override the markup per change order.

The project can have a default markup that is used when subcontractor change orders are carried forward to the client. You set it with the edit button on the Markup column.

How to do it

  1. Go to Change Order Client and open a change order.

  2. Find the Markup column and click the edit button on the column.

  3. Choose whether the markup should be in percent or kroner.

  4. Enter the default markup in the Default markup field and click Save.

The lines in a Change Order Client in AIMZ with default markup editing open. 1 points to the edit button (the pencil) on the Markup column, 2 to the choice between percent (%) and kroner (kr), and 3 to the Default markup (%) field with the Cancel and Save buttons.

Good to know

  • The markup is used to calculate the income claim from the cost.

  • You can override the markup on each individual change order.

  • If the markup isn't set automatically when you carry forward a subcontractor change order, enter it manually in the field.
