How do I change the contract value on a purchase?

Open the contract in Purchasing, click edit and set the actual signed value. This value goes into the final forecast.

Open the contract, click the edit button and enter the actual, signed purchase value. This is the value that goes into the final forecast.

How to do it

  1. Go to Purchasing and find the contract.

  2. Open the contract and click the pencil icon on the contract card under the General tab.

  3. Change the amount in the Cost column on the cost line under Costs to the signed value.

  4. Save, and check the final forecast on the production code.

The Edit contract dialog in AIMZ, opened with the pencil icon on the contract card. 1 points to the amount in the Cost column on the cost line, and 2 to the Save button.

Good to know

  • A common example is a contract value that covers two buildings, while only one is contracted. In that case you enter the amount that is actually signed.

  • If you have entered a planned purchase with a calculated amount, update the amount and set the status to Purchased in the Status column on the cost line when the contract is signed.

  • Additions that come after signing are registered as a Change Order Subcontractor on the contract.
