Do I have to track every single payroll line in AIMZ?

No. Collect the entire payroll series from the accounts on one account or production code in AIMZ. It is the total that matters for the project economics.

No. A common and recommended solution is to collect the entire payroll series from the accounts, for example all accounts in the 5000 series, on one account or production code in AIMZ. Wages, employer's contributions and other payroll-related entries then come in together, and it is the total that matters for the project economics.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Prod. codes and open the code for your own crews.

  2. Right-click and select Edit, and go to the Advanced tab.

  3. In the System prod. codes for invoice integrations field, enter the payroll series, for example 5000-5999.

  4. Save.

The Advanced tab on a production code. 1: The Advanced tab. 2: The System prod. codes for invoice integrations field. 3: The help text showing that you can enter a range, for example 5000-5999. 4: Save.

How to check that the month's payroll has come in

You don't need to link or check each payroll line. If you want to check that a month is included, open the invoices on the code and group by Posting period. You then see the total per month.

Good to know

  • AIMZ can also do this setup when the project is set up.

  • If you want to track payroll per trade, hours must be registered on the right production code in the time tracking system.
