Why do some invoices end up under «no account»?

The invoice is posted to an account that does not exist in the AIMZ project. Add the account, and the transactions are moved there.

An invoice ends up under «no account» when it is posted to an account in the accounts that does not exist in the AIMZ project. The cost is included in the project, but is not on any account yet, and a warning sign is shown. You fix it by adding the account to the project, and the transactions are moved there.

How to fix it

  1. Find the invoice with the warning sign, or open «no account» in the table.

  2. Click the warning sign. AIMZ shows the accounts that exist in the accounting system as options.

  3. Choose to create or add the account directly from there.

  4. The transactions on the account are then moved to the correct account in AIMZ.

The invoice list. 1: The link on an invoice, where you see which production code or account the invoice is posted to. 2: The Invoice link column.

Avoid it going forward

  • Enter the full chart of accounts as completely as possible when the project is set up. Then little ends up under «no account».

  • AIMZ does not create new accounts automatically. If a completely new account is created in the accounting system, it must be added in AIMZ.

Good to know

If the project tracks by production code, invoices with an unknown production code similarly end up under «No prod. code».
