How do I register actual quantity and cost for a month in Own Production?

Click the month on the line, fill in actual quantity, unit price and actual cost in «Add actual», and save.

When a month is finished, click the month on the relevant line in Own Production and fill in the actual quantity and cost in the Add actual window. The forecast and the final forecast on the production code are updated automatically when you save.

How to do it

  1. Go to Own Production and select the monthly view.

  2. Click the month on the line you want to update. The Add actual – [month] window opens.

  3. Fill in Actual quantity, Unit price and Actual cost. The planned values for the month are shown for reference.

  4. If you want to start from the plan, click Copy planned and adjust the figures. Clear resets the fields.

What happens next?

If what you have logged deviates from what was planned for the month, the month is marked with a deviation. The Forecast (cost) and Forecast (quantity) columns and the final forecast on the production code are updated. You can then decide how the deviation should be handled.

Tips

  • Register the actual quantity, not just the cost. That way you can compare directly with the estimate.

  • Quantities can often be read from the material invoice, or estimated from how far the work has progressed, for example what percentage has been plastered.

  • You can update one line at a time. You don't need to update all lines at once.
