No. Setup and Operation follows when the cost is posted, not when the money goes out. For liquidity, use Liquidity. There you can shift costs, for example by one month.

How to do it

  1. Go to Liquidity.

  2. Select the Grid tab and click Edit at the top right.

  3. Find the cost you want to shift, for example payroll, and move it to the month the payment actually happens.

  4. Check the liquidity overview in the Chart tab.

Liquidity in AIMZ, the Grid tab, with one row per cost type and one column per month. 1 points to the Grid tab, 2 to the Setup and Operation group, and 3 to the Edit button, which is used to move amounts to another month.

Good to know

  • If you accrue payroll by posting month in Setup and Operation, you can adjust the payment timing in Liquidity without changing the final forecast.

  • Setup and Operation is used to follow up cost and forecast. Liquidity is used to follow the cash flow.

  • Costs that fail to arrive can be carried forward automatically in the liquidity overview.
