How do I zero out a UE change from the change management system that should not be included?

You do that in the change management system. AIMZ reads the UE claim from there, so a change that is to be zeroed out must be changed or rejected in the change management system.

When the UE changes come from an external change management system, you make the change there. AIMZ only reads the UE claim from the change management system, so that is where the claim must be zeroed out or rejected.

How to do it

  1. Go to the change management system and find the UE change.

  2. Zero out or reject the claim there.

  3. Go to Change Order Subcontractor in AIMZ. The update arrives and awaits approval.

  4. Check the amount and approve the update.

An open Change Order Subcontractor in AIMZ. 1 points to Change Order Subcontractor in the breadcrumb, 2 to the columns Cost claim and Cost where you check the amount, and 3 to the status list for the line with the options Notice, Offer, Claim, Approved, Rejected, Disputed and Withdrawn.

Good to know

  • What AIMZ fetches from the change management system is the UE claim. The revenue side, that is, what is sent on to the client, you handle in AIMZ.

  • If the UE change has already been carried forward to a Change Order Client, you must also review the revenue there.

  • Updates from the change management system do not affect the final forecast until you have approved them.
